We Are So Sorry- Let’s Get the Facts Straight on Chi O Philanthropy
Chi Omega Sisters- We are so sorry.
In the email newsletter sent earlier today a story was accidentally published that highlighted the philanthropic efforts of Alpha Chi Omega, not those of Chi Omega. All other published information pertained to Epsilon Beta.
We want to take this opportunity to point out some of the great accomplishments of our undergraduate Chi O sisters, and apologize for the confusion caused by the earlier email.
Chi O’s at UNC:
• Have an extremely active Dance Marathon team. This is UNC’s annual fundraiser that benefits the Children’s Hospital, and Chi O Sisters have traditionally raised the most money “for the kids” of any group on campus!
• Routinely have the largest Relay for Life team at UNC. In fact, many of our sisters sit on the committees for both the Dance Marathon and Relay for Life!
• Have members that spearhead the UNC Habitat for Humanity. We’ve pushed to help build 10 new houses for UNC employees. The event, called “Build a Block” was the largest event of its kind put on by a University through Habitat for Humanity, and Chi O was strongly represented in the volunteer and committee ranks.
Chi O promotes growth and teaches us all to work earnestly at whatever we choose to do. Clearly, our undergraduate sisters are working hard to promote the philanthropy and legacy of the Epsilon Betas!
